I'm a Toronto-based freelance writer and editor. My first published work appeared in the now defunct Inside Mississauga magazine when I was 16 years old.
While earning my Honours BA at York University in Communications & International Development, I was a staff writer at Excalibur: York University's Community Newspaper focusing on arts and culture coverage. In 2015, I completed a certificate in Magazine and Web Publishing from Ryerson University.
I've lived in Copenhagen, Ho Chi Minh City, and have long-term volunteered in Guyana and British Columbia. In fall 2014, I moved to Montreal to work as an editorial intern for Air Canada's enRoute magazine.
Since then, I've been living in Toronto and have been working as a copywriter. I’ve consulted on brand voice and tone for companies like Hudson's Bay Company, Koodo, Air Canada and more. I’m currently the founding editor of Return Trip, a magazine that explores how travel makes us feel, and I’m an associate editor at The Vault, a literary zine focusing the work of women writers.
